C-MANET with enhancement of routing techniques using KNN and fitness function

The increasing domination of mobile devices has led to the appearance of Mobile ad-hoc networks, characterized by decentralization and self-organization. This paper introduces the Cloud Mobile Ad-hoc Network, a hybrid architecture integrating MANET with the cloud. The choice of cluster head from the gateway node’s set is main in Cloud Mobile Ad-hoc Network as it significantly influences the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the routing process within the network. To address this challenge, the paper proposes an algorithm that combines the k-nearest neighbor method and a fitness function for optimal cluster head selection and clustering in these types of networks, demonstrating improved packet delivery, reduced service packets, and increased network throughput in simulations.
