Study of a QPSK Modem Under MATLAB, Simulink, Communications and DSP

Summary

This chapter presents the study of simulation of a quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) digital transmission modem under MATLAB, Simulink, Communications toolbox, and digital signal processor blockset. The modem is decomposed into two essential functions: the transmission function (transmitter) and the reception function (receiver). The receiver consists of blocks that perform reverse functions to the transmitter blocks. The chapter also describes the process for simulation of the QPSK modem.
