Monopole Radiation based Customized Substrate Patch with Partial Ground Structure to operate at 7.5GHz

With the ongoing development of satellite communication technologies, The need for high-performance antennas with a broad frequency range is rising. A unique wideband printed monopole antenna created especially for satellite communication is offered in this study. The antenna design uses the Rogers Ultralam 1217 material as a Substrate material which has low dielectric constant value and is used for high frequency applications and it also provides good thermal stability and low loss tangent with copper clad lamination. The antenna design is customized for substrate along with patch and ground. Ansys HFSS software is used to construct the designs and a variety of simulation results are produced. The proposed design shows favorable performance in terms of parameters like Gain, Directivity, Return loss, Isolation and Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR). The gain is achieved to be a maximum of 5.96dB for VSWR being within the limits of 1 and 2 at the operating frequency 7.5GHz
