Free-Space Communication Through an Ocean World Ice Shell to Enable Ocean World Exploration

This paper presents the work of the Signals Through the Ice (STI) team to develop a radio frequency free-space communication module capable of transmitting data through an ocean world ice shell, such as at Europa or Enceladus, to enable a future mission to explore the ocean of an icy moon.
