Miniaturized Dual-Band Circular Patch Antenna Design for 5G mmWave Applications Using ANFIS

This study introduces a meticulously engineered compact circular patch antenna, specifically designed for efficient operation at both 28 GHz and 38 GHz frequencies, to cater to the dynamic realm of 5G mmWave applications. The precise dimensions critical for achieving dual resonance frequencies were accurately determined through the application of advanced ANFIS techniques. A comprehensive evaluation strategy, including intricate simulations using both HFSS and CST electromagnetic simulators, was executed. Subsequently, a physical prototype of the antenna was meticulously crafted, and the culmination of this process entailed extensive measurement and testing. This unequivocally established a robust correlation between the simulated and real-world results, thus serving as a concrete validation of the antenna's real-world performance. In operational terms, the antenna seamlessly navigates the dual-band spectrum, effectively meeting the exacting requirements set forth by 5G mmWave communication.
