Implementation of a Mathematical Model for the Simulation of Microgravity in a Light Jet Aircraft

In recent years, the challenges posed by population growth have led to a shortage of energy, food, and resources. Space exploration is being considered as a potential solution to address these issues. Space exploration is a difficult and resource-consuming journey, distinctive tools and simulations are necessary to identify exploration requirements and their subsequent socio-economic benefits. Companies like SpaceX have developed reusable rockets to manage resources and promote sustainability. Although fuel requirements have not been addressed along with the damage cost. This is the big challenge in the space industry, microgravity simulations are utilised to combat challenges such as resource management, safety enhancements, and validation of the mission. These experiments are cost-effective alternatives to traditional space missions, which often require steep budgets. Moreover, the current space exploration industry faces various limitations, including health risks for astronauts, space debris, and engineering challenges. Simulating microgravity environments on Earth is complex, with limited durations and inherent environmental variables. A novel mathematical model to simulate the microgravity environments in a light jet aircraft is designed to integrate experimental results using mathematical evaluations. It aims to improve pilot safety, aircraft performance analysis, and understanding of how aircraft systems function in microgravity conditions. This research includes real-world flight tests on a Marchetti S211 jet, providing critical insights into the matrix's capabilities.
