High-Density Ultra-Flexible Neural Probe for Monitoring Electrophysiological Signals of Free-Moving Mice With Epilepsy

Our study presents a successful application of a high-density ultra-flexible neural probe for monitoring electrophysiological signals throughout all stages of epilepsy, including resting, pro-ictal, and seizure states, in free-moving mice. This novel probe provides not only wide brain region coverage but also high spatial resolution neural recordings, enabling us to observe the propagation of local fast ripples across multiple brain regions. Our findings demonstrate a powerful platform for studying epilepsy and have the potential to inform future clinical diagnosis.
