Development of Plant Growth Monitoring Sensor to Visualize Ion Dynamics in Plants and its Functional Validation in Long-Term Measurements

This paper reports three-week continuous monitoring of ion dynamics in plants. A measurement system was constructed by combining a plant-piercing CMOS ion image sensor and a reference electrode for long-term measurement, and it was confirmed that the sensor output varied with irrigation and light intensity over the threeweek continuous measurement period. The sensor output varied with irrigation and light irradiation during the weeks of continuous measurement.
