Conceptual Foundations for Forming a Configuration Management Subsystem of a Telecommunications Network

Today, changes as a response to internal and external disturbances in the technological process of any system are an important criterion for determining the viability and adaptation of such a system. Since managing modern communication networks is impossible without intelligent subsystems, the requirements for them must be correspondingly high. The key element of the communication device management subsystem is the database with all its internal processes for processing and storing, as well as all tasks and issues related to the current configuration of the communication network. The work presents the result of a phased integration of the CMDB repository as a separate subsystem of the telecommunication network management system. A set of architectures is proposed, according to which it will be possible to mathematically and programmatically realize the development of a universal configuration management subsystem for telecommunications network management systems with high scalability, complex technological solutions, and multi-criteria requirements.
