Construction and Application of Reader Cloud Service Platform under the Background of Smart Library Construction

Smart library is an innovative form that utilizes computer networks as the foundation and applies technologies such as cloud computing and big data to traditional information resources and services. This article first analyzed the problems and development trends in the current use of digital reading platforms. Secondly, based on the needs and characteristics of smart readers, a new functional system architecture led by “readers” was designed. Afterwards, this article also conducted performance data testing on the platform, and the test results showed that the cache hit rate of the platform was above 94%. This can meet the requirements of personalized learning for readers. These plans provided a reference basis for library information construction and were expected to further improve the cloud service architecture and improve the efficiency of information resource utilization.
