Enhancing Healthcare: Flexible and Wearable Antenna Design for Tumor Detection

The advancement of flexible and wearable microstrip patch antennas presents significant potential in medical technology, especially in tumor detection. These antennas, characterized by their lightweight and inconspicuous design, provide novel avenues for ongoing surveillance and the early identification of tumors. By enabling wireless communication, they facilitate real-time monitoring of physiological parameters linked to tumor growth. This innovative approach holds promise for non-invasive, continuous monitoring, facilitating early detection and intervention in tumor development. In this paper present an antenna design for tumor detection at 2.45GHz and antenna is design on the flexible substrate polyimide with dielectric constant 3.5. For the tumor detection human tissue model with tumor is design and different simulation analysis is done on it with human tissue model and tumor at the front and back side of the antenna. The size of the presented antenna is 43.45 × 35 × 0.75mm3. In this work, reflection coefficient (|S11|), 3D radiation patterns, directivity gain and SAR parameters are analyzed and results are presented.
