Control of the Electric Drive Shutdown by Applying the SDRE Method

The possibility of controlling the shutdown of an electric drive with a direct current electric motor of sequential excitation according to the feedback principle is investigated. The existing methods of analytical design of this kind of control are not suitable due to the nonlinear properties of the dynamics of the electric motor. The SDRE method of synthesis of nonlinear control systems is used to solve the problem. It is used to build an algorithm for stopping the electric drive, which allows for a smooth decrease in the speed of rotation of the drive shaft for a given time.
