Web-Visualization of the Process of Controlling Operating Parameters of the Demonstration Bench on the Basis of Active Experiment in CoDeSys Environment

The paper presents a new approach to visualization of an additional extension (as a component of the execution system) of the CODESYS controller for displaying visualization screens (user interfaces) in a web-browser. The paper considers the implementation of the Web-visualization concept, which allows remote control of the visualization of the acoustic-magnetic geothermal water treatment process and its parameters using a web-browser on different hardware platforms, which provided a significant advantage in the flexibility of the control system. Web-based visualizations allow remote control of the process by graphically displaying the status of equipment and processes. Maintenance engineers involved with the application can perform their normal procedures much faster and at a lower cost, which confirms the usefulness of the application. The proposed experimental setup procedure can be applied to other processes, thus reducing the cost of performing experiments. The proposed solution uses Web-visualization techniques combined with communications based on the standards defined by IEC 61850. The developed prototype Web application is tested in a laboratory environment. The application allows visualization of automation data where required by using standard communications for real-time SCADA information.
