The Practice of “MOOC Plus Theme Lecture-Artificial Intelligence Tutoring - Proj ect Practice (MOOC+TAIP)” Model to Improve AI Literacy of Preschool Teachers

The evolution of education ecology has been driven by the constant iterative improvements in technology against the backdrop of artificial intelligence. Preschool teachers are now under intense pressure to increase their AI literacy in order to keep pace with the advancement of intelligent education. The existing requirements for preschool teachers' AI literacy, however, are vague, and it is clear that they fall short of these requirements. To fill this gap, this study conducted research using the methods of literature research, theoretical deduction, survey research and evaluation research. It clarified the connotation elements of AI literacy of preschool teachers based on pertinent literature, then developed an evaluation and measurement table of preschool teachers' AI literacy. This study created the MOOC “Artificial Intelligence Empowers Preschool Teachers' Professional Development” to address the unique needs of preschool teachers in terms of AI literacy. Preschool teachers in the city of DG underwent training using the “MOOC Plus Theme Lecture-Artificial Intelligence Tutoring-Project Practice (MOOC+TAIP),” which significantly increased their AI literacy. According to the effect analysis, preschool teachers had a high level of satisfaction with the MOOC content, and the “MOOC+TAIP” model may significantly improve their AI literacy while also offering both theoretical direction and practical guidance to advance their professional development.
