A Multi-Step Real-Time Simulation Method for Integrated Energy System Based on Multi-Platform Combination

This paper proposes a multi-step real-time simulation method for integrated energy system based on multi-platform combination, which combines the IES toolbox and RT-LAB platform for real-time simulation. This method can use the highly refined models in the toolbox and multi-step simulation based on RT -LAB platform. In order to realize the real-time simulation across platforms, this paper first uses the toolbox to build the model and carry out the initial value calculation and offline simulation, in which the steady-state model is responsible for providing the initial value of topology and calculation and the dynamic model is responsible for offline simulation. After the offline simulation is successful, the toolbox dynamic model library of the Linux system is generated. Then the model configuration and system kernel separation operation are carried out on the RT-LAB platform. Finally, this paper takes the University of Manchester's integrated energy system as an example to demonstrate the process of model building and real-time simulation. It verifies the real-time simulation capability of this method.
