Capacity Optimization of wind Generation Considering Complementary Operation with Pumped Storage

A reasonable system capacity allocation scheme is an important basis for the development and utilization of renewable energy. Firstly, a multi-objective wind-pumped storage system capacity optimization model is established with the objectives of minimizing levelized cost of energy, minimizing the net load peak valley difference of regional power grids, and minimizing the output deviation of the hybrid system, considering the uncertainties of wind power outputs. Then, an algorithm combining improving the strength evolutionary algorithm and mixed integer linear programming is constructed to solve the model. Finally, the pareto frontier is obtained and the trend of three objectives is analyzed.
