Multiphysics Coupling Simulation Calculation of Anode Saturable Reactor

As a key equipment in the converter valve, the anode saturable reactor has to withstand the high-order harmonics generated by the thyristor when its turning-on and turning-off state, which will cause the vibration of the reactor. In this paper, a simplified model of anode saturable reactor is established for vibration and sonic analysis. First, the magnetization characteristic and the magnetostrictive characteristic of the silicon steel sheet are measured. Second, a multiphysics coupling model is established, and the measured data are used into the simulation calculation. Third, the simulation results are analysed and compared with experimental data. The results indicate that the model can basically fit the experimental vibration, which has certain guidance for subsequent research.
