Method and Application of Energy Storage Spot Trading Based on Dual Settlement Market Model

A decision method and software system are proposed of energy storage spot trading based on dual settlement market model, for operation scenarios of independent storage power stations operating within the market in scheduling mode under the dual settlement market model, based on the results of the electricity price forecasting model, and considering the charging and discharging schedule of the energy storage power station and the possibility of arbitrage in the market. Taking into account the charging schedule and discharging schedule of energy storage plant and the possibility of arbitrage in the market, we give the optimization decision scheme of self-scheduling of energy storage plant based on the algorithm of self-scheduling optimization decision module of energy storage plant under the dual settlement market model; and we also develop the auxiliary decision system of energy storage spot trading, with the aim of accomplishing the function of optimization of the decision-making of charging and discharging declarations of energy storage and to validate the validity of the approach introduced in this paper.
