Dynamic Triggering Strategy for VPPs Based on Physical Operating State and Electricity Market

The problem of low motivation of virtual power plant participation in the power market is studied in this paper. A dynamic trigger model of virtual power plants based on physical operation state and power market is proposed to improve the enthusiasm of virtual power plants to participate in the power market. First, pricing strategies for different time scale power markets are proposed. Then, we build a data-driven virtual power plant response willingness prediction model. And a total of eight factors in two dimensions of physical operation state and market operation state are selected as model feature inputs. Finally, this paper utilizes Matlab to simulate the actual trading process in the two markets of peaking and frequency regulation to verify the feasibility of the method.
