Research on Static Voltage Stability Index of Regional Power Network with New Energy Stations Based on Voltage Stability Criterion

With the increasing penetration of new energy, the problem of static voltage stability of power grid has become increasingly prominent, and there is an urgent need for a static voltage stability analysis method to simultaneously evaluate the new energy stations and load buses in a region. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a static voltage stability index based on the voltage stability criterion, which is used to judge the voltage stability of new energy station buses and load buses in the regional network. Firstly, based on the Thevenin equivalence method, the power network with a high proportion of new energy is equivalent to a single machine single load system; Secondly, the analytical static voltage stability index is derived based on the voltage stability criterion; Then the mechanism of this index is compared with L index from the analytical formula, and the reasons for the error of L index in the case of heavy load and large new energy generation are described; Finally, the validity and accuracy of the proposed index in judging the static voltage stability of new energy stations and load buses are verified based on the modified IEEE 3-unit 9-bus example with new energy stations.
