Optimization Model of Unit Commitment Considering Nonconvex Cost Characteristics of Coal-Fired Unit Deep Peak Shaving

Due to the nonconvex cost characteristics of coal-fired unit deep peak shaving, this paper first analyzes the non-convexity of the total operating cost of coal-fired power units. Secondly, it establishes an optimization model for unit scheduling that takes into account the non-convexity of deep peak shaving costs of coal-fired power units, proposes a linearization method for nonconvex cost curves, and transforms the problem into a mixed integer linear programming problem. Finally, based on provincial power grid data, the effectiveness of the model is verified through simulation.
