A Cluster Control Simulation Method for High Penetration Distributed Photovoltaic Power Plants

In order to solve the problems of node voltage overruns and voltage fluctuations of distributed PV power plants connected to the distribution network, and the current power communication network faces the challenge of not being able to effectively control access with PV centrally, a cluster control method for distributed generation is proposed. This method divides the optimal cluster according to the electrical distance of distributed generation (DG), takes the constraint range of node voltage and power and the economic level of input equipment as the cluster optimization objective, and calculates the sensitivity of each voltage within the divided cluster, selects the one with the highest integrated sensitivity as the dominant node of the cluster, and for the nodes that do not meet the constraints, the cluster with the largest reactive power margin and sensitivity factor with the dominant node is selected, and the dominant node voltage control is carried out to regulate the voltage. Through the cluster division, the most suitable nodes can be found to maximize the reactive power compensation for the nodes with voltage overrun, which can effectively improve the stability of the distribution system operation and solve the problem of voltage overrun. IEEE 33 node distribution system as an example for simulation and analysis, to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of this method, can solve the problem of uneven distribution of node voltage.
