A Flexibility Assessment Method for Active Distribution System considering Time-Coupling Constraints

In order to study the problem of overly conservative capacity calculations for active distribution system units in the context of transmission system and active distribution system information exchange, a method involving equivalent renewable energy field station and equivalent energy storage was employed. This approach models the active distribution system side as equivalent renewable energy stations and equivalent energy storage facilities in order to fully exploit the flexibility of the active distribution system. Network constraints, renewable energy prediction errors, time-coupling constraints of renewable energy, and time-decoupling constraints are considered in calculating the flexibility of the active distribution system. The aggregated flexibility is solved by a bound shrinking method to obtain the more accurate and less conservative parameters.
