Wind-Solar Coordinated Optimization of Port Microgrids

To fulfill the “dual-carbon” strategy, distributed power generation utilizing natural clean resources such as wind and light has become a major trend. As one of the scenarios with large loads, ports urgently need to reorganize the power layout to achieve the transformation of energy structure. Therefore, this paper establishes a two-layer model for distributed power capacity allocation in port microgrids. The upper-level long-term planning model takes into account the annual investment and operation costs of the system, total abandoned wind and light rate, and power quality factors at distributed energy grid-connected points for optimal allocation; the lower-level short-term operation model optimizes scheduling with the goal of minimizing typical intra-day operating costs. The IEEE-33 system is used to validate the proposed power capacity allocation method, and the power quality levels of the power capacity allocation results are evaluated. The results show that the access of distributed power supply can greatly reduce the total cost, and the inclusion of power quality factor can guide the configuration results so that the power quality of the microgrid can be improved. The effectiveness of the distributed power configuration model for port microgrid proposed in this paper is proved.
