Evaluation Method for Weak Links in Power Supply of New Distribution Systems

With the widespread application of renewable energy and the popularization of distributed power sources, traditional distribution systems are facing the challenge of weak power supply links. The existence of weak power supply links not only affects the stable supply of electricity, but also limits the absorption capacity of distributed power sources. This article takes into account the enhancement of distributed power generation capacity and interconnection capability in the new urban distribution system, establishes an evaluation index system for weak links in power supply, including voltage level, load rate, power loss, short-circuit and distributed generation accommodation, uses mathematical models and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for quantitative analysis, develops corresponding improvement measures and optimization strategies, and enhances the power supply capacity of weak links. The proposed method has been validated in a real case study of a new distribution system, demonstrating the effectiveness of the weak point assessment and handling method.
