Stochastic Scenario Analysis of Photovoltaic Acceptance Capacity Considering Overvoltage Risk

With the continuous increase of photovoltaic penetration rate in power system, the research on photovoltaic acceptance capacity of distribution network has attracted more and more attention, and scientific and reasonable evaluation technology of photovoltaic acceptance capacity can effectively guide the planning and construction of photovoltaic. This research presents an assessment technique of the solar acceptance capacity of distribution network taking overvoltage risk into consideration in order to address the issues of restricted analysis scenarios of mathematical optimization methods and conservative evaluation of random scenario simulation methods. First, a brief description of the impact of distributed photovoltaic access on the distribution network is provided, along with the safe operating restrictions for photovoltaic grid connection. Then, based on the random scene generating technique of photovoltaic acceptance capacity, the idea of overvoltage danger is proposed, and the calculation method of photovoltaic acceptance capacity considering overvoltage risk is given. Finally, taking IEEE33 node as an example, the validity of the model is verified. The outcomes of the simulation demonstrate the effectiveness of the suggested technique in estimating the overvoltage risk of the distribution network brought on by the ambiguity of the photovoltaic configuration mode and providing an appropriate photovoltaic configuration scheme.
