Comprehensive Assessment of the Power System Blackout Source Events Damage

A Power System Blackout Source Events can trigger a power system great blackout, and its damage reflects the ability of the Power System Blackout Source Event to damage the system. To quantitatively assess the Power System Blackout Source Event damage, firstly, this paper describes the basic concepts of Power System Blackout Source Event and their damage; Secondly, based on the public safety triangle theory, a comprehensive assessment index system and calculation model which covers the ontological damage and functional damage are constructed, and the mutation level method is used for assessment; Finally, the rationality of the proposed index system is verified by the improved IEEE30 node arithmetic system, and the differences in the damage of different Power System Blackout Source Event are further compared and analyzed.
