Optimal Location and Capacity Planning of Distribution Network Considering Demand Response and Battery Storage Capacity Degradation

The stochastic and fluctuating nature of a high proportion of renewable energy sources in the distribution network has a great impact on the stable operation of the distribution network. In order to reduce the influence of renewable energy accessing on the stability of distribution network, a distribution network system model considering demand response and energy storage system degradation is established. Aiming at the minimum load loss probability and installation-operation cost, an improved multi-objective particle swarm algorithm is proposed to obtain the optimal location and capacity of renewable energy and battery storage system in the distribution network, to achieve the best tradeoff between investment economy and operation stability. Finally, modified IEEE-33 node system is used to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed model and algorithm.
