Demand response-based operation optimization of a typical industrial and agricultural IES

Irrigation, metallurgy and other industrial with agricultural users are characterized by large loads and high regularity of electricity consumption. Participation in demand response can play a huge role in building a new power system. At the same time, on the basis of the regulating capacity of the multi-energy flow integrated energy system, the adjustable capacity of demand-side resources can be further improved. To this end, first, various equipment loads are modeled, and a calculation model is proposed that takes into account the respective operating characteristics of various equipment and their response characteristics to the grid.Secondly, an integrated energy system for agriculture and industry that includes irrigation, metallurgy, and multiple types of energy storage/loads will be studied. A multi-energy system economic dispatch model considering demand-side response is constructed while considering time-sharing tariffs to find the optimal strategy for the system to participate in demand response. Finally, an arithmetic example is analyzed based on the operational data of an actual park. The results show that the proposed strategy can participate in the demand response while meeting the system energy requirements, and the results of the case analysis verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed model and strategy.
