Analysis of the Achieving Time of Carbon Emission in Transportation Industry Based on the STIRPAT Model

Transportation is one of main areas of carbon emission in China. In order to forecast the time of achieving carbon emission peak, this paper firstly used STIRPAT model to build relationship among carbon emission and key influencing factors. Then by using data from Fujian province, it analyzed influencing degrees on carbon emission. Based on this, it forecast the development of these factors, and calculated carbon emission of transportation in future. The research results could provide a way to analyze carbon emission into several certain factors and forecast its development exactly.
