Experimental Analysis of Withstanding Direct Current for Power Transformers

In this paper, in view of the low accuracy of the DC bias simulation model and the difficulty in determining the transformer withstand threshold, the scaled test scheme, core components and test methods for transformer withstand DC current are introduced, and the no-load bias test of scaled transformer is also briefly introduced. The final results show that the DC current increases the no-load loss will tend to saturation, DC bias multiplier has little effect on the value of load loss.
