Stability Analysis of Hybrid Wind Farms Considering Wake Effect

The wake effect has different impacts on the grid connection stability of different types of wind farms. It is necessary to clarify the impact of wake effect on the stable wind speed range of hybrid wind farm grid connected system (HWF-GCS) with series compensation lines. Firstly, the two-variable admittance model of HWF considering the structure of the collector line was established, and the wind speed range of the system was analyzed under two conditions: ideal wind speed and consideration of wake effect, using the amplitude phase contours plot criterion. The results indicate that the presence of wake effects can reduce the stability of HWF-GCS, which can provide reference for the layout and design of actual hybrid wind farms. Simulation plat based on Matlab/Simulink is built to verify the correctness of the model and analysis results.
