Accelerated Solution for Electricity and Heat Distributed Dispatch Considering Electric Boiler and Heat Dynamics

In the electricity-heat integrated dispatch studies, the node method is widely used to model the heat dynamics. However, this representation significantly increases the computation complexity of the resulting dispatch model. To avoid this difficulty, a new representation of the heat dynamics is proposed in this paper. The coordination of electric boiler and heat dynamics is also considered to reveal the full potential of heating network and electric boiler in integrating wind power. In addition, a new distributed algorithm is developed where the standard alternating direction method of multipliers is combined with the heavy sphere method for acceleration. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated on a modified electricity-heat integrated system comprising a six-bus electrical system and a six-node heating system.
