Conjunctivitis Eye Detection Using Deep Learning - A Survey

Conjunctivitis, an inflammation of the eye's thin, clear covering, causes redness and irritation. Its severity ranges from mild discomfort to intense symptoms like redness, swelling, and eye discharge. Current research explores integrating deep learning into ophthalmology, specifically in analyzing fundus photographs and optical coherence tomography for conjunctivitis identification. However, challenges persist in developing and implementing the right algorithm in both clinical and technical settings. This project aims to diagnose conjunctivitis through a focused application of deep learning techniques.
