Electrochemical detection of lead using Silane modified MOF.

Zeolitic Imidazolium Framework, ZIF-67 was modified with amine-terminated silane by solvothermal reaction. The synthesized ZIF-Silane was used to modify the surface of a glassy carbon electrode. Differential pulse voltammetry techniques were used for the evaluation of the performance of the modified electrode toward the sensing of lead ions. The modified electrode was effectively used for the detection of lead ions from an aqueous solution.
