Joint Optimization of Industrial Process and Power Demand Response: A Case Study in Cement

The construction of new power system puts forward higher requirements for demand-side management, and it is necessary to further tap the adjustable load resources to stabilize the fluctuation of the power grid. A large number of studies on tapping adjustable resources have been carried out in the fields of industry, transportation, commerce, agriculture, and residents. Among them, the industrial side has concentrated load and large energy consumption, which meets the requirements of interruptible and adjustable power load and has great adjustable potential. At the same time, processes such as craft are closely related to the adjustable potential. Interruptible and adjustable loads should not hinder normal production and operation. Therefore, it is necessary to study the adjustable resources of the industrial side considering the craft and process. In this paper, the research is carried out based on the cement industry in the basic industry. The process is established into a scheduling model through the state task network. The MILP method is used to optimize the total price of all states in the process minus the maximum value of the difference between the use cost of all equipment. The optimal scheduling and adjustable potential changes under different warehouse settings and warehouse material quantities are studied.
