Research on Cloud Edge Interaction Technology for Power IoT Based on HTTP and CoAP Protocol

The traditional power system only has one-way power interaction, while in the new power system, in addition to power interaction, there is also information interconnection and exchange. Subsequently, a massive amount of heterogeneous terminal devices are connected, and the data presents characteristics such as massive heterogeneity, complex structure, and complex interaction. It is urgent to form an interaction technology solution suitable for the new power system and build a smart Internet of Things (IoT) system. This article conducts research on cloud edge interaction protocols in the field of electric power IoT, analyzes the application characteristics of Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP) protocols, and combines the architecture of electric power IoT to carry out detailed design and research on cloud edge interaction technology based on HTTP and CoAP protocols from multiple aspects such as device access authentication and data interaction, and compares and analyzes them with Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol. From practical engineering verification, it can be concluded that the scheme studied in this article has the characteristics of universality, ease of use, and security. It can adapt to the access and data exchange of various protocol devices in the field of power IoT, and has good practicality and broad research prospects.
