Photogrammetric Method for Calculating Spatial Coordinates of Transmission Line Galloping

Aiming at the requirements for accurate measurement of the overhead distance of transmission lines, a galloping monitoring camera based on the photogrammetric bundle adjustment was researched in the paper. The galloping surface of the conductor as the constraint condition was captured at first, then the instantaneous spatial coordinates of the feature points were calculated through the image coordinates of the feature points of the conductor on the video, providing reliable basic data for the calculation of galloping vibration mode, trajectory, amplitude and other parameters. The simulation of conductor galloping experiment verified the feasibility of the algorithm, and the experiment showed that the accuracy is equivalent to the spatial resolution of the camera.
