IoT Based Solution for Monitoring Pesticide Level in Fruits and Vegetables

Nowadays most of the people are focusing on their health and a healthy diet. Fruits and vegetables are included as an important part of such a diet. But many of the fruits and vegetables are grown by using fertilizers, pesticides and steroids to improve the quantity and profit, thus the adverse health consequences on individuals brought on by the use of pesticides, steroids, and fertilizers have escalated. Fruits and vegetables are becoming one of the main sources of harmful pesticides that enter the body, so it's important to find the best way to monitor pesticide levels in food samples. With the aid of sensors and a microcontroller, a prototype of the system is developed in this project to gather information on the presence of pesticides. As a result, hardware and software designs are employed to acquire real-time results. Embedded C is used to code the maximum amount of pesticide that people can consume without suffering any negative health effects. The result is shown to the user through an android application with a good user interface.
