Design and Optimization of Electrical Parameters in Pumped Storage Power Station Based on 3DE Digital Platform and Bee Colony Algorithm

With the increase in the number and capacity of pumped storage power stations, as well as their increasing proportion in China's power grid structure, their operational stability and safety issues are increasingly receiving attention from relevant departments and researchers. Pumped storage is currently the most important and effective way to achieve large-scale peak shaving and valley filling, and increase the consumption of renewable energy generation by the power grid. In this regard, this article optimizes the design of electrical parameters in pumped storage power plants through the combination of 3DE digital platform and bee colony algorithm. According to the current basic steps and processes of electrical design, based on the 3DE digital platform combined with bee colony algorithm, complete product quotation, electrical drawings, and form design, aiming to improve design efficiency and quality. The research results indicate that the optimized stator slot width decreases, the air gap increases, and the rotor slot width decreases, which is beneficial for reducing waveform distortion rate. However, it will lead to a decrease in the amplitude of the fundamental wave of the line voltage, which can be compensated by increasing the excitation current. For AC (Alternating Current) excitation motors excited by converters and connected to the grid, reducing the waveform distortion rate of the line voltage is of great significance.
