Adjustable Model and Database for Teaching Mathematics Based on Virtual Simulation

The application of virtual simulation technology in education is becoming popular. Thus, an adjustable model for mathematics teaching was developed based on virtual simulation and its supporting database in this study. The model was constructed to help students comprehend mathematical concepts and apply them. A database was created for storing students’ learning data, teaching resources, and model adjustment parameters for the personalization and optimization of the teaching process. By applying the model to classrooms, the effectiveness of the model and the feasibility of the database system were verified. Students showed higher learning interest and participation using the virtual simulation mathematics teaching model. The implementation of the database enabled teachers to adjust their teaching methods based on students’ learning data and personalized learning resources, which improved teaching effectiveness.
