Improved intelligent fleet management system with data analytics and internet of things (IoT) for smart cities

Considering everyone utilizes vehicles for personal, professional, and a large portion of the fleet industries, vehicle networks play a significant part in smart cities. As the vehicle network expands frequently, it is essential to optimize the extensive vehicle network for the seamless development of smart cities. The intricate networks of the vehicle that are now controlled by manual labour must be greatly reduced, and the whole management system must be made intelligent. In this study, we proposed a cloud-based, sophisticated IoT-based digitization of the fleet management system. This method makes it very simple to manage both grey fleets for personal use as well as fleets used by enterprises and industry. With our recommended strategy, real-time fleet monitoring, cloud sharing, data analytics with visualization, and decision making are also achievable. To handle, maintain, and achieve the most effective operations for the fleet, this intelligent fleet management integrates several advanced fleet management technologies like IoT, Cloud, Big data etc. Many real applications can be enhanced for smart cities like Traffic, fuel management, Driver pooling, Complex data storage, Decision making etc.
