Computationally Efficient Algorithm and Device for Joint Signals Detection and Estimation of Their Parameters Under Broadband Ionospheric Channel Conditions

The development of decameter range communication systems is currently aimed at expanding the used frequency band in order to increase the speed of information transmission. When using a frequency band of more than 100 kHz, significant distortions arise in the transmitted signal due to the dispersive properties of the ionosphere, which leads to a decrease in quantitative indicators of the signal detection quality and discrimination, as well as to a decrease in the accuracy of the accompanying estimation of the parameters of these signals. Improving the quality of signal detection and estimating its parameters can be achieved by additionally assessing the signal dispersion distortions quality with their subsequent compensation. The article presents a computationally efficient algorithm and device for joint detection of signals and estimation of their parameters under conditions of a broadband ionospheric channel. It is shown that the developed algorithm and device reduce the required number of operations per second by 10

times compared to a classical device in the form of a set of correlators. Signals for which the value of the real-time coefficient does not exceed one can be processed in real time (signal duration up to 2 seconds).
