Improving Noise Immunity of Receiving Video Data From Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Due to the widespread use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in various fields of application, the volume of transmitted data in communication channels is increasing, the requirements for the speed and accuracy of data transmission are increasing, and therefore, the issue of increasing noise immunity remains relevant. This paper proposes a method for increasing the noise immunity of receiving video data from a UAV. The data are approximated by the multidimensional discrete-valued Markov random process N states and transmitted by signals with the number of N states. An algorithm for nonlinear filtering of a Markov random process is synthesized based on the theory of conditional Markov processes. A nonlinear filter is built into the demodulator of the receiving device. Increased noise immunity is achieved through the use of high intra-frame and inter-frame correlation of video data. The results of modeling a communication channel are presented, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
