Evaluation of the Demodulation Efficiency for MIMO Communication System Signals Under Three-Dimensional Modeling of Scatterer Locations

Multiple Input and Multiple Output (MIMO) communication systems are widely used due to their high potential to improve capacity and noise immunity. Various space-time coding techniques are used in realizing the communication. In real communication systems, receiving and transmitting antennas may be surrounded by signal scattering objects. In this paper we consider the effectiveness of algorithms for space-time decoding of the signal in the presence of scatterers. The location of scatterers is described by a three-dimensional model according to COST 259 scenarios.
