Analysis on the Coupling and Coordination of Regional Digital Economy and Innovation Ability under the New Development Pattern

The paper constructs the evaluation index of digital economy development level and regional innovation ability from multiple angles and dimensions. Based on the panel data of 30 provinces and cities in mainland China from 2011 to 2020, the entropy method is used to determine the weight of the index. The linear weighting method is used to assess the digital economy development level and regional innovation ability of provinces and cities. The coupling coordination degree data of each province is obtained through the coupling coordination degree model. The research results show that the development level of the digital economy and the development trend of regional innovation ability in most provinces and cities are good, but the regional development difference is significant. In view of the development index and coupling status of the two, the paper proposes some policy recommendations, such as optimizing resource allocation, adjusting macro policies, and strengthening regional cooperation.
