ECG Artifacts Suppression Using the NLSRA-Based Cascaded Fixed Point Interference Canceller

The newly proposed Normalized Leaky Sign Regressor Algorithm (NLSRA) is used in a cascaded fixed point interference canceller for ElectroCardioGram (ECG) artifacts suppression application. An upper bound for the NLSRA algorithm step size is also derived. The various parameters of the NLSRA-based cascaded fixed point interference canceller are quantized using the convergent round method. The quantization bit depth required for the various parameters of the NLSRA-based cascaded fixed point interference canceller is found through MATLAB simulations for the most effective ECG artifacts suppression.
