Fuzzy Gamma Correlation Coefficient: Applied to the Analysis of Data from the Ceramic Industry Domain

This article focuses on detailing the implementation of the Gamma correlation coefficient in its fuzzy version, using the data analytics framework R. The correlation analysis is applied to data corresponding to the ceramic industry domain, with the purpose of detecting the relationship between the variables obtained during the paste preparation process. Also, a comparison of the results obtained with the correlation in its fuzzy version and in its classical (non-fuzzy) version is made, to subsequently obtain the pairs of variables with the highest correlations. In the article, experimental work is carried out with three data samples, extracted from the original set from a simple random sampling, with the purpose of extracting information from different groups of data, which allow identifying behaviors of the observables that have a significant impact on the quality of the products obtained. Finally, the results are interpreted and the conclusions obtained from the work carried out are mentioned.
