Design of Triangular Slotted &DGS Based Textile Antenna for Wireless and Sub 5G Band applications

The use of textile antennas has become a viable option for wireless communication applications due to their flexibility, lightweight nature, and the ability to integrate seamlessly with clothing or other textile substrates. Textile antennas find applications in various fields, including wearable electronics, smart textiles, medical monitoring systems, and military applications. They offer advantages such as comfort, ease of integration, and improved user experience. Additionally, textile antennas can be seamlessly integrated into garments, enabling unobtrusive and continuous communication. Future research in textile antenna technology focuses on improving the performance characteristics, durability, and wash ability of these antennas. Further exploration of novel materials, fabrication techniques, and design optimization methods will continue to drive the advancement of textile antenna technology. In this work, a unique textile antenna design using a modified defective ground structure (DGS) is described. This design is suitable for deployment in various applications, including C-band application, WLAN application and mid-band frequency applications for 5G (NR).
