XOR-Based (k,n) Visual Cryptography Scheme With Meaningful Shares

Visual cryptography scheme (VCS) is a kind of secret sharing, when distributing noise-like shares to participants, it is easy to attract the attention of attackers. In this paper, two novel XOR-based progressive (k,n) visual cryptography schemes ((k,n)-XVCS) with meaningful shares have been proposed, visual qualities of recovered images appear multi-level upgrade when the number of the stacked shares increases. Extensive experimental results are demonstrated, exhibiting the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed method.
